New Board of Directors to Be Voted in at November General Meeting

The new NBA Board of Directors will be elected at the General Meeting on November 19 and installed on December 17. The NBA by-laws preclude any member holding the same office for over three consecutive years. Vice President Tony Slaga, Secretary Dona Swanson and Treasurer Stan Keys have expressed their willingness to run for their respective offices for the last time. President Tom Basham will not run again.

Jim Hobbs, who’s heading the nominating committee, will collect candidates’ names and perspective offices until the November General Meeting and from the floor at the meeting. He will not be involved in any voting, however, as he is also a candidate. To help the Association’s survival, active NBA members are needed to fill these offices when terms expire.
