Nokesville Athlete Matthew Clark Is a Member of Team USA

One of Nokesville’s own will compete in the 2003 Summer World Games in Belfast and Dublin, Ireland. From June 20 - 29, special Olympians from over 150 countries will participate in 26 sports.

As a member of Team USA, Matthew Clark will represent the US in the swimming competitions. He has competed in local and state swimming events for over ten years, earning many first- and second-place medals. He was selected for Team USA because of his skills, positive attitude and friendliness toward everyone. Just recently, Matthew attended a reception for Team USA, hosted by the 107th Congress on Capitol Hill, where he met several Senators and Representatives.

Matthew is the son of Dennis and Donna Clark of Facilities Management Consultant Services, an NBA member. He attended classes throughout the Prince William school system, including at BDHS. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson in 2000 and now works at Quantico.
