R B THOMAS ENGINEERING TEAM WINS AGAIN

The Thomas Engineering Senior Softball Team from Manassas captured the National Softball Association (NSA) Senior World Series the weekend of 27 July in Gadsden, Alabama.

Seventeen teams from throughout the US competed in the Aged 55 and Over Classification. They returned home with their 15^th National Championship after competing in the top Major Plus Division. The team has been one of the most successful senior teams over the past decade.

R. B. Thomas, a Nokesville resident, started the Thomas Engineering Softball team in 1978. They have now participated in 48 national and world championships and won 15. For more information on game scores and details and on the team, contact R. B. Thomas, Jr. at 703-368-1188.
