One of the goals of the Nokesville Business Association is to form a special committee whose sole mission will be to raise funds for the betterment of Nokesville.

This committee may call itself "The Friends of the Nokesville Business Association", and will be the fundraising "arm" of NBA.

The Friends group will apply for its own tax exempt status and will be able to apply for grants and other monies for various projects, as well as hold other appropriate fundraisers.

A meeting to establish the Friends group is being planned for September 17, at 7:00 pm, directly after the regular General Meeting of NBA at the Nokesville Fire Department. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to attend this organizational meeting.
