Jim Hobbs, NBA’s new president, is a realtor with Bassette Homes (www.BassettHomes.com), a subsidiary of Keller-Williams Realty. The Nokesville-based business is owned and operated by him and wife Peggy Bassette. Jim and Peggy moved to Nokesville in June 1999; Jim has lived in Prince William County since 1976 and Peggy is a life-long county resident.

BJ Thomas, a Nokesville resident since 1961, has taken on the job as treasurer. She’s been a business person for over 25 years, doing her own bookkeeping over that time. She is currently an authorized representative for Excel Telecommunications (www.buddysmarket.com). From 1976 to 2000, BJ operated Buddy’s Market at the intersection of Routes 28/215. Her husband Curtis Fristoe assists in her Excel business and does small engine repair. They have three grown children.
